If the tax advice requires more than a quick call and proves to be more complex and requires specialist expertise, we may agree a fixed fee. For example, this could be a fixed fee for writing a report, second opinions, drafting complex tax documents, transaction and filing support to HMRC, researching a particular tax issue or designing a share option scheme.
Tax Consultancy Services Written Advice (£390 plus VAT per hour)
What to Expect?
David Craddock is always happy to have a short informal chat to explore the detail of your issue.
Before providing the verbal or written tax advice we require you to please sign our ‘Terms & Conditions of business’ which we will email to you via DocuSign.
Once we have received your signed ‘Terms & Conditions of business’, David will then countersign the agreement and you will receive a copy for your records.
David will then be able to start the work for you, he will call you to discuss the rate of time charge or agreed fixed fee.
How Will I Know How Much I Will Be Charged?
If it is a short verbal tax advice that David has provided, at the end of your call David will agree the amount of time spent on the phone with you and charge you accordingly.
If the query is more complex and requires specialist expertise, David will provide an estimate of fees or, in many cases, quote a fixed fee for specific work and advice.
Finally, our accounts team will forward the invoice to you by e-mail.
*Please note our payment terms are within 7 days of the date of invoice, payable by bank transfer.
